(K)NOT A BOW 002 is a pair of experimental earrings conceived as a study in entanglement and form. Hand-assembled using mother of pearl, garnet and lemon jasper, the piece translates the idea of a knot into a suspended gesture worn on the ear.
Beaded strands loop, cross and fall unevenly, creating an asymmetrical bow-like form. Scale is slightly exaggerated and weight is intentional. Playful at its core, the result sits between ornament and object.
Each pair is assembled by hand in our atelier and released in very small quantities. Variations in stone pattern are inherent to the work and part of its character. No two pairs are exactly alike.
