MATERIALS & CRAFTSMANSHIP
Fashion today thrives on overproduction, waste and fleeting trends. We refuse to be part of that cycle.
At THE KNOT, true luxury lies in presence, not perfection. Our pieces are crafted with respect — for materials, techniques and time — designed to be treasured for years, not discarded after seasons.
We work with carefully sourced, high-quality materials that align with our values of durability and responsibility. Our current edition of T’s d’Art is crafted from 100% organic cotton, certified by both GOTS and OEKO-TEX, ensuring environmental and social responsibility from field to fabric. The inks we use are also OEKO-TEX approved, water-based and non-toxic, meeting strict safety standards for both the wearer and the planet.
STRUNG — our line of beaded necklaces — reflects a slower, more intimate form of making. Each piece is entirely crafted by hand, using natural semi-precious stones sourced through partners who prioritise social responsibility and ethical practices. We make one-of-a-kinds and very small batches. Working with a small palette of materials allows us to avoid over-sourcing and preserve uniqueness in a homogenised market. This way, we are able to create pieces that carry story, memory and care — and that only you, or maybe just a few, will own in this world.
Both lines, T’s d’Art and STRUNG, operate under a made to order model. We only produce what is needed and wanted — avoiding overproduction, excess inventory and unnecessary waste. Each piece is created with care and purpose, ensuring that what we make truly belongs in the world.
We honour the human touch — the skill of hands that weave, knot, and construct. Whether through traditional craftsmanship or innovative processes, our focus is always on creating pieces with depth, meaning and integrity.
