STORY

THE KNOT began as a personal way of working through material and repetition, during a knotted phase of my life.

I grew up in a family where objects were chosen with care, kept, repaired and passed down. Things carried meaning and symbolism beyond function, and acted as reminders of trips, achievements, people or moments.

That understanding shapes this studio.

I work with simple systems (knotting, threading, binding) allowing material, hands and experimentation to guide form rather than imposing it, with the aim of creating things worth keeping.

What started as an intimate practice continues to evolve into a contemporary adornment studio grounded in exploration.
