We believe responsibility should be baseline, not branding.

At THE KNOT, we work on a small scale, producing in limited numbers through a made-to-order model, sourcing responsibly and avoiding excess.

 

Our STRUNG pieces are entirely crafted by our hands, using semi-precious stones sourced through trusted suppliers who prioritise fair working conditions and responsible practices.

Gemstone supply chains are complex and rarely fully traceable. There are currently no universal certifications guaranteeing mine-to-market transparency. Rather than overpromise, we choose to acknowledge this reality.

We work exclusively with suppliers -including members of the UK’s National Association of Jewellers- who follow clear codes of conduct and strive toward improved standards within an imperfect system. We also collaborate with small independent partners who maintain direct relationships with their sources. The country of origin of each stone is shared within each product's description.

Our T’s d’Art line is produced using certified organic cotton (GOTS and OEKO-TEX), printed with water-based, non-toxic inks, and shipped carbon-neutral. All packaging is plastic-free.

 

As a small brand, our choices are deliberate, but not flawless. Making anything leaves a footprint. Our commitment is to remain aware, transparent and continuously improving.

This work is personal, and our commitment is ongoing. Responsibility is a non-negotiable part of it.
