THE KNOT is a contemporary adornment studio exploring knots as structure and states of tension.

We work at the intersection of art, craft and fashion, treating hand-crafted adornment as a way to construct presence on the body.

Repetition, exploration and interruption guide our forms.
Simple systems evolve through making; threading, knotting and reworking by hand.

Adornment, for us, is a deliberate act: a way of marking the body and defining selfhood.

Knots are gestures of tension.
They bind, resist and release.

Each piece is made-to-order, as one-of-a-kind or in very small batches in our atelier, using semi-precious stones.
